The Artist

My name is Beth Novak. I am a graduate of U.W. Stout, where I studied Studio Art and concentrated in art metals. I dabbled in many mediums after graduating, settling a few years ago on enamels after taking a class in Door County, Wisconsin. To me, enamels are the perfect medium - they provide color, texture, form and line - in an enduring material. The settings I use to hold my enamels are almost always silver - sterling or fine. I enjoy seeing what colors I can achieve on the silver, using patinas. For me, it's all about color and texture!

While I don't do commission pieces per se, there are often times when a client is looking for a piece similar to another piece I've created. I would love to talk with you about finding just the right piece. Perhaps it's sitting on my bench right now, waiting for you!
